Reviews should never come as a surprise. Both as a coach and a peer, it’s important to formulate feedback regularly, in a constructive, informal matter to your peer.
Nevertheless, it’s important to have a more ‘formal’ review process, where feedback is written down and can be used to decide on promotions etc.
